Les Enluminures 1991-2011

This exhibition celebrated 20 years of activity at our Paris gallery. Les Enluminures opened its doors in the Louvre des Antiquaires in September 1991. Since that date, it has moved three times, each time to a different (and bigger) space in the Louvre des Antiquaires.
The gallery sells many medieval works of art: illuminated manuscripts (including Books of Hours, text manuscripts), illuminated manuscript leaves and cuttings, works of art, and medieval and Renaissance rings. Clients include private individuals as well as major museums and libraries throughout the world.
The catalogue (related to the exhibition) provides an overview of the history of the gallery by presenting 20 works sold to high-profile collections in the last two decades. These 20 works are followed by 20 works available for sale today as the gallery stands ready to enter its third decade of activity. The exhibition ran from September to the end of November, 2011.
