Les Enluminures inaugurates its new Parisian space in the prestigious Jardin du Palais Royal,, under the arcades at 21-22 Galerie de Montpensier, 75001 Paris.
To mark its opening, the gallery is inaugurating the exhibition “Le jardin magique: à la recherche de la Rose”, highlighting a precious illuminated copy of the Roman de la Rose, dating from the 14th century. With this first exhibition, the gallery opens a new chapter, supported by a bold annual program. Its ambition is to offer a fresh look at the masterpieces of the past, by bringing medieval art into dialogue with contemporary creation.
